How soon will my order be shipped?

Orders that include live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Your order will therefore be shipped the Monday or Tuesday following your purchase.

You will then receive your order within 24 to 48 hours depending on the delivery method chosen.

Plant packaging

To ensure your plants travel safely to your home, they are carefully wrapped in cotton wool and then rolled in corrugated cardboard before being wedged in a box with kraft paper .

Please note that in the vast majority of cases, your plants are sent with their pot, in order to limit the stress due to shipping.

Plant care

You have just received your plants, and you don't know how to take care of them?
Here are some tips that will be useful to you, although it is ALWAYS best to find out before purchasing a plant so that you can give it everything it needs to flourish.

Seeds and bulbils

To successfully germinate seeds and bulbils, you must provide them with a warm environment (around 25°C is ideal), humid (for example in a mini greenhouse) and bright, using natural or artificial light.

Seedlings and plants

The majority of plants you will find on young-botanist.com are tropical plants originating from humid environments. Thus, you will need to provide them with an environment with at least 80% humidity so that they can grow properly. To this you must add good air circulation, a suitable substrate as well as average brightness, depending on the stage of maturation of the plant.

If you want to know more about light, it's here .

Return and Refund

I select from my plants cuttings and quality plants, which have been cultivated with the greatest care. These plants and cuttings are sent in full health and you can know on request all their cultivation methods until they arrive at your home. Transparency and traceability are assured.

Young Botanist's quality/conformity guarantee is free and covers both the quality of the products (i.e. plants in good condition) and the conformity of your order (i.e. you receive the plants you ordered). Therefore, if you have received a plant in poor condition or a plant that is not the one you ordered, the guarantee will apply. However, returns for other reasons will not be accepted.

For any request for a total or partial refund, please send a written request by email to ybotanist@gmail.com accompanied by photos in order to validate that it is indeed a defect linked to the article or the order and not to the care possibly given to the plant after receipt.

It is your responsibility to check the conformity of the products received at the time of delivery. Any anomaly concerning the delivery such as: damaged package, missing products, damaged products, products not conforming to the order, must be notified within 24 hours following receipt of the order.

This notification will be sent to the site's customer service either by email to ybotanist@gmail.com

After this period, no complaints will be accepted, the products being deemed to be compliant.

What should I do if I receive a plant in poor condition?

If, despite careful packaging, your plant is damaged during transport and reaches you in poor condition, we thank you for informing us by email addressed to ybotanist@gmail.com , and for attaching photos so that we can see its condition. This email must be sent to us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will then be able to agree on an appropriate solution (exchange, discount, refund).
